European Christian Democrats appeal to Lukashenka in connection with Vital Rymasheuski

The Association of Christian Democrats of Eastern Europe has recently appealed to Alyaksandr Lukashenka in connection with the threats to Vital Rymasheuski, presidential candidate for the BCD.

Dear Mr President

 

The Association of Christian Democrats of Eastern Europe is deeply concerned with the information that on December 10 and 11 presidential candidate for the Belarusian Christian Democracy Vital Rymasheuski and his family received threats connected with his participation in the ongoing presidential campaign.

 

Therefore, the Association of Christian Democrats of Eastern Europe appeals to you with a request to ensure the safety of the presidential candidates, to order an inquiry into the issue of threatening the presidential candidate Vital Rymasheuski, and to conduct fair and transparent presidential elections in Belarus.
