THE BCD WILL APPEAL TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE, KGB AND THE PRESIDENT FOR AN EXPLANATION WHETHER THE CHECKING OF PERSONAL DATA OF THE BCD FOUNDERS IS LEGAL
According to him, the Supreme Court at the hearing dedicated to consideration of the complaint on the decision of the Ministry of Justice about non-registration of the BCD stated such practive of checking was illegal, in July. "According to the Court decision, the founding documents of the party can be checked by the Ministry of Justice only. However, the authorities continue the illegal practice of checking the data of the BCD founders by the people who have nothing to do with the issue", — said Rymasheuski.
He informed that the appeal to the Ministry of Justice regarding lawfulness of checking of data of the BCD founders would be filed on December 02. "After that we will appeal to the KGB with a demand to stop violations of the law from their side. We will also demand that Lukashenka should answer the questions whether such actions are approved by the highest authorities of Belarus", — stated Rymasheuski.
"We do realise that the authorities will give us an answer in Stalin's style, that these cases are the initiative of local authorities. However, it is interesting to us, how these local authorities get the list of the founders of the BCD, whether the list was provided by the Ministry of Justice, and if so, due to which reason. We would also like to know whether the Ministry of Justice gave instructions to anyone to conduct such checking, — said Rymasheuski.
He also underlined that the checking of the BCD founders by the representatives of the executive offices and tax inspections started even before filing of the documents for registration of the party which included the list of founders to the Ministry of Justice.
