EPP’s President demands to release centre-right leaders
President of the European People’s Party Joseph Daul is alarmed by the brutal arrests of Belarusian centre-right leaders: BCD’s Vital Rymasheuski, UCP’s Anatol Liabedzka, FFM’s Yury Hubarevich, CDM’s Volha Kavalkova and others.
That is what he posted on March 11 in his account on Twitter.
“Belarus must abide by internationak law, respect people’s basic human rights: freedom of speech and assembly; immediately release centre-right leaders” – he wrote.
