CHRISTIAN DEMOCRATS OF NAVAHRADAK CONDUCT ACTIONS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CAMPAIGN “FOR INDEPENDENCE!”
The Navahradak structure of the Belarusian Christian Democracy started actions in the framework of the campaign “For Independence!”.
On Sunday young Christian democrats were adopting the experience of fighting for independence. They met with Belarusian patriot-nationalist Jauhen Usiukevich, who struggled for the Belarusian idea in 1941-1944. This brave man served the term in Soviet camps for his activity.
Every day the activists glue the leaftets containing the message “The Language is Given by God” and the logo of the party “Belarusian Christian Democracy” all over the streets – lamp posts, stalls, walls, even monuments, in support of the above-mentioned campaign.
Moreover, the plan of the action includes collecting signatures for renaming of the main square of the town from Lenin to Mindaug.
